Our Taste of The West, award-winning farm shop is the place to come for some of the finest local and artisan foods around.

With an eclectic range of seasonal, fresh produce, choose from handmade sweet and savoury favourites and bites to eat from our kitchen, together with the very best of locally-sourced goods, gifts, and homewares.

From the kitchen...

Everything we produce in our kitchen and sell in the farm shop is handmade, home-cooked, and fresh from our oven.

Our selection of artisan, naturally leavened sourdough loaves are made just like they should be for taste and authenticity. And as for our range of cakes and sweet treats, you’ll need to savour them for yourself - delightful, delectable - and always delicious.

We also have a full range of homemade preserves, jams, and chutneys, all created with the freshest of produce from here on the farm. And you can even try some of our home-pressed juice - all made from farm-fresh fruit and veg, this is as natural as it gets.

Something sweet? Why not try our own range of homemade ice cream? Coming in a variety of flavours, it’s thick, creamy, and just a bit naughty - perfect for a spot of indulgence.

From the farm...

Just one of the reasons why people love to visit the shop is to try our selection of delicious, hand-cured meats.

Treat yourself to some of our renowned and succulent free-range pork sausages, all handmade using natural ingredients, or our dry-cured bacon, full of flavour from our own Coldharbour Farm pigs.

And you’ll always discover a stellar selection of scrumptious, fresh produce in the shop. Besides the amazing free-range eggs – delivered daily by a brood of happy hens – our selection will vary, as with any seasonal choice. But you’ll be able to buy a ready-to-eat supply of fresh fruit and veg picked from the farm or coming in from local suppliers.

All our lamb and pork are from free-range animals hand-reared and living their best lives right here on the farm. Our beef is Aberdeen Angus and is sourced from local suppliers, while our fish comes in fresh from the water every day from our Exmouth supplier.

Whether coming from us on the farm or supplied by local producers and suppliers, all our meat is ethically and responsibly butchered and comes with full provenance and traceability.

Seasonal menus include freshly prepared tasty meals, light bites, and delicious cream and afternoon teas using many ingredients from right here on the farm.

Spirits...

We also have a wide range of specially selected spirits for you to enjoy at the end of the day or maybe for a special occasion.

We’re thrilled to have found a range of distinctive, artisan gins from Dartmoor, Exmoor, and beyond, as well as rum from nearby Clyst Honiton, just outside Exeter. We’ve been amazed to discover how many small distilleries there are in the area. All run by people who have a passion for their delicious products, many of which you’re unlikely to find on the supermarket shelves.

In keeping with a magical time of year, we transform the shop every Christmas, offering you the best in seasonal, yuletide food heaven and fabulous gourmet treats.

So if you’re feeding a houseful, why not place your order for a plump, free-range turkey and all the ingredients you’ll need for a Christmas lunch to remember? Just don’t forget our succulent, free-range pigs-in-blankets.

But if you’re having a low-key, quiet time, our traditional Christmas-ready meal is specially designed for one or two people. Giving you a perfect yuletide feast with all the scrumptious goodness of turkey and all the trimmings, without the hassle.

But our Christmas shop isn’t just for food. Come in and discover a range of perfect, handmade gifts and decorations, artisan hampers crammed with locally sourced eatables – and maybe even a driftwood Christmas tree or two.
